About the role
This interview assesses your control of a water treatment plant as both a continuous process and a public-health responsibility. The panel will look for strong decisions on changing raw water, quality exceptions, equipment reliability, chemical safety and the leadership of round-the-clock operations.
How to prepare
- Trace the treatment process from intake through dosing, clarification, filtration, disinfection, storage and distribution.
- Prepare a quality incident where you verified data, contained risk and identified the root cause.
- Review sampling integrity, laboratory checks, analyser validation and release decision records.
- Practise balancing production demand with an equipment defect or limited standby capacity.
- Think through chemical storage, dosing, spill response and safe shift handover controls.

- Choosing production continuity before confirming that treated water is safe.
- Trusting a single analyser or sample when other evidence conflicts.
- Discussing chemical dosing without control checks, records and worker protection.
