About the role
This interview tests how you run a liquid-products terminal safely while protecting throughput, product quality and stock accuracy. The panel will look for disciplined operational control, sound judgement during abnormal conditions and evidence that you can lead shifts and coordinate several interfaces.
How to prepare
- Review tank-farm constraints, receipt planning, loading operations and shift handover controls.
- Prepare an example of resolving a stock variance or custody-transfer concern.
- Rehearse your response to a loss of containment, fire alarm or loading-bay emergency.
- Think through how you schedule maintenance without exposing the terminal to unsafe operating conditions.
- Prepare evidence of improving throughput, turnaround time or operating discipline.

- Treating throughput as more important than tank limits, product quality or containment.
- Accepting stock losses without testing instruments, records and transfer boundaries.
- Describing emergencies without clear command, isolation and communication steps.
