About this interview
This interview assesses graduates who may rotate through a network operations centre, field support and service assurance. Interviewers want solid networking basics, calm incident handling, logical diagnosis and communication that helps technical and business teams act on the same facts.
How to prepare
- Revise IP networking, transmission, radio access, power dependencies and common monitoring concepts.
- Practise an incident sequence from detection and impact assessment through escalation, restoration and review.
- Prepare a technical troubleshooting example where your first theory proved wrong.
- Think about how commercial power loss, generators and battery capacity affect network availability.
- Practise giving a short incident update without claiming a cause that has not been confirmed.
Common mistakes
- Listing technical terms without connecting them to the symptoms in the scenario.
- Making unapproved changes during an incident without recording or escalating them.
- Reporting an early suspicion as though it were a confirmed root cause.
