About the programme
This interview considers whether you are ready to begin supervised clinical learning in nursing school. The panel looks for a patient-centred reason for applying, safe judgement, respect for confidentiality and an ability to communicate compassionately while accepting feedback.
How to prepare
- Review the role of a student nurse and the boundaries of working under supervision.
- Prepare examples of caring for someone, protecting private information and responding to feedback.
- Revise basic infection prevention principles and the importance of escalating changes in a patient's condition.
- Practise answering ethical scenarios by explaining what you would do and whom you would inform.
