About the programme
A coding bootcamp admission interview helps the team decide whether you will complete an intensive course and come out job-ready. They look at why you want to learn to code, how you learn, how you solve problems and whether you have the time and commitment the course demands.
How to prepare
- Try a few free beginner coding lessons so you can talk about what you have already learnt.
- Be ready to explain why you want to code and what job you are aiming for.
- Plan how you will fit the course into your week, including power and internet backup.
- Think of something difficult you taught yourself and how you went about it.
- Practise solving simple logic puzzles and explaining your steps.
Common mistakes
- Joining only for the money in tech without showing real interest in coding.
- Underestimating the hours the course needs alongside work or school.
- Giving up on a practice problem instead of showing how you would keep trying.
