About the role
This is an executive interview about the design and performance of a complete logistics network, not only day-to-day delivery. The panel will test how you connect service, cost, inventory, risk and investment choices, and whether you can lead managers and partners through difficult change.
How to prepare
- Build a clear view of the logistics network scope, cost drivers and service measures from your recent roles.
- Prepare an investment or outsourcing decision and explain the alternatives you rejected.
- Choose a transformation example that shows governance, people leadership and sustained operational results.
- Practise discussing poor end-to-end performance when individual sites or providers appear to meet their targets.
Common mistakes
- Offering cost reduction as a strategy without explaining the effect on service, resilience or working capital.
- Staying at a high level when the panel asks how governance changes operating behaviour.
- Taking sole credit for a transformation without showing how leaders and partners were held accountable.
