About the role
This interview covers the practical work of taking a SaaS customer from discovery to a supported launch. The panel is looking for careful requirements analysis, disciplined configuration and testing, useful training and calm management of data or scope problems.
How to prepare
- Choose an implementation example and map the customer's process, configuration, data, testing and handover.
- Prepare a story about discovering that a stated requirement did not solve the underlying problem.
- Review how you assess data readiness before migration or import.
- Practise explaining a product limitation and the available options in plain language.
- Think through how you check that users can complete their work after training.
Common mistakes
- Agreeing to copy a poor existing process without examining the user's goal.
- Leaving data validation until the end of the implementation.
- Calling a launch successful before users and support teams are ready.
