About the role
This interview tests your ability to move high-volume consumer goods from available stock to distributors and retail channels. The panel will look for disciplined allocation, stock rotation, accurate delivery control and constructive handling of service disputes.
How to prepare
- Review how sales orders, available stock, loading plans and transport capacity connect in daily distribution.
- Prepare an example of scarce-stock allocation and the business rules behind your decision.
- Be ready to explain stock rotation, traceability and shortage investigation in an FMCG setting.
- Think of a distributor complaint you resolved using warehouse and delivery evidence.
- Revise the distribution reports and spreadsheet checks you use to monitor service.
Common mistakes
- Promising stock to every customer without a consistent allocation method.
- Treating a signed dispatch note as proof that the customer received the correct quantity.
- Ignoring stock rotation when pushing to meet loading and delivery targets.
