About the role
This interview is for a graduate learning to support day-to-day agro-processing production. The panel is looking for a sound grasp of processing stages, careful record keeping, food safety awareness and sensible action when a batch or machine does not behave as expected.
How to prepare
- Revise the processing steps for two agricultural products, including the purpose of each stage.
- Practise simple input, output, yield and loss calculations without relying on specialist software.
- Review how hygiene, contamination controls and correct storage protect raw materials and finished goods.
- Prepare an example of following a practical procedure carefully during laboratory, workshop or internship work.
- Think through how you would protect a batch during a power or equipment interruption.
Common mistakes
- Describing processing stages without explaining what each control is meant to achieve.
- Changing a process setting without recording it or informing the responsible supervisor.
- Treating hygiene checks as separate from production output and quality.
